5 miles East of Van Buren along Hwy 60.  One  440 acre tract is 
South of the Hwy 21 and 60 junction.  The other tract is off Hwy
21 on County Road 21-306.

Current River C.A.

West of Ellington on Hwy 106, then 4 miles South on Hwy HH to
Cardareva Mountain.  This is a 24,181 acre area.  Parts of it
border the Current River, Carrs Creek, Paint Rock Creek and
Long Branch.  There are two overlook platforms near Blue 
Springs (a Designated Natural Area.

Peck Ranch Conservation Area

5 miles East of Winona on Hwy H and another 7 miles East on
a gravel road marked with a sing in Shannon County.  This
22,948 acre area has 119 ponds (totaling 125 acres), seven
caves and numerous springs.  Designated Natural Area include
Stegal Mountain (3,872 acres), Golden Seal (100 acres), Mule
Hollow Glade (44 acres) and Grassy Pond (1 acre).  Most of the
area is forested, and a 9,5 mile stretch of the Ozark Trail goes
through the area.  It is also equipped with a firearms range and
a public contact office.

Crawford County

Blue Springs Creek C.A.

2.5 miles South of Bourbon on Hwy N, then off Blue Springs County
Road (marked by a cantilever sign).  The Meramec River and Blue
Springs Creek flow for about 5 miles through this 857 acre forested
area.

Crooked Creek C.A.

At the junction of Hwy's M and VV. A 337 acre area and mainly
forested.

Huzzah C.A.

Two tracts.  The largest tract can be reached from Onondaga
Cave State Park, or by heading North East of Steelville on Hwy E
and crossing a low water bridge at the Courtois Creek.  This 6,225
acre area contains parts of the Meramec River, Huzzah Creek and
Courtois Creek.  8.5 miles of the Ozark Trail will extend through
the area (approximately 4.5 has been constructed), and spelunkers
often explore the area's 20 caves.

Onyx Cave C.A.

6.5 miles South of Bourbon on Hwy n,  and 3 miles East (left) on 
Thickety Ford Road.  There is no public access to the cave, but it
is surrounded by about 35 acres of forestland.  The Brazil Creek
flows through the area for about .3 mile.

Richter C.A.

14 miles East of Steelville on Highway 8, then 3 miles down Hwy
Y.  This 81 acre area is all forestland.

Woodson K. Woods Memorial C.A.

On Hwy 8 South East of St. James.  This 5,660 acre area on Dry
Fork Creek and the Meramec River Contains Spring's End Forest, 
a 30 acre natural area of bottomland hardwoods.

Lead Mine C.A.

North of Plad on Hwy 64, North on Hwy T, and .5 mile East on
Hwy YY.  At the first gravel road on the left, turn North and
travel for roughly 1 mile to reach the main parking lot.  This
6,957 acre area has 1 mile of Niangua River frontage and a 3
mile stretch of Jakes Creek running through it.  The area also
has two ponds and seven springs and consists mainly of forest-
land (5,788 acres).

Williams Ford Access

2 miles West of Windyville on Hwy MM, and 1 mile left on an
unnamed gravel road.  This is a40 acres on the Niangua River
with no boat ramp.

Cedar Grove C.A.

3 miles south of Jadwin off Hwy K.  This is a 1,160 acre forest
composed of three separate tracks.

R.F. Clement Memorial Forest and Wildlife Area

12 miles North West of Salem off Hwy OO.  This is a 520 acre 
forest.

Hyer Woods Natural Area

Near Lake Spring on Hwy 72, 15 miles South of Rolla.  This is 30
acres of upland hardwood forest and is a Designated Natural Area.

Indian Trail C.A.

12 miles North East of Salem on Hwy 19.  This is a large area
13,383 acres composed mainly of forestland.  It contains six
springs, many small ponds and wildlife watering holes. Horseback
riding is permitted on forest roads, and there is a picnic area.
Indian Trail Fish Hatchery is located within the area.  It consists 
of 75 acres and is home to Blackwell Lake (35 acres) and a 1 mile
stretch of Crooked Creek.  There is a 1 mile hiking trail and two
picnic areas.

Grundy Memorial Wildlife Area

North West of Goodhope off Hwy NN.  From Hwy NN, turn 1.5
miles South on County Road 537.  This 40 acre area is nearly all
forestland and has a .5 mile dirt nature trail

Rippee C.A.

11 miles East of Ava on Hwy 14, and 1.5 miles South on County
Road 328.  Rippee Creek and Bryant Creek flow through this 418
acre area.  Bryant Creek Natural Area is roughly 30 acres of a
100 foot wide riparian corridor, and the area is the site of a
recorded Civil War skirmish.

Shannon Ranch C.A.

1.25 miles South of Vanzant on hwy 95.  This 1,325 acre area
is composed of forestland (748 acres), pastureland (306 acres)
and glade (268 acres).

Vera Cruz Access

3 miles North of Hwy 14 on Hwy AB.  The 80 acre area is on a
gravel road at the end of the pavement.  Hunter Creek and Bryant
Creek flow through the area ( 6 acres for fishing) beneath
limestone bluffs.  There is a picnic area.

Dean Davis C.A.

10 miles North of West Plains on Hwy 63 and .5 mile East on 
County Road 2420.  This is a 177 acre area with a small fishing
pond and a 1 mile hiking trail.

Tingler Lake C.A.

South of West Plains.  Take Hwy 17 South to County Road 910
travel roughly 6 miles, then turn South on County Road 811 and
travel for .3 mile to the area.  There is a sinkhole pond, wet mesic
prairie, and part of the South Fork of Spring River on this 240
acre area.  There are also two 2 mile hiking trails over mowed
grass.

Archie and Gracie VanDerhoef Memorial State Forest

3 miles West of West Plains on Hwy 60.  Turn South on Hwy JJ and
travel 8 miles, then look for County Road 9620 and turn and travel
.5 mile East, look for County Road 8110, turn and travel .5 mile
to the area.  This is a 140 acres area on this road.  It contains
a .5 mile stretch of the South Fork of Spring River and many
small springs and seeps.  There is also a .5 mile hiking trail with
an observation deck.

White Ranch C.A.

Three tracts.  The main tract is 7.5 miles South of West Plains
on Hwy 17, then 5 miles South (right) on County Road 8390.  Parts
of the west and south forks of Spring River and Hunt Branch lie
in this 6,614 acre area.  The area contains a firearms range and
picnic area.

Bear Creek C.A.

5.5 miles East of Lebanon o I-44.  Take exit 135 and go East on
South Outer Road .1 mile, then turn South on Rustic Drive and
travel 1.45 miles to the main parking area.  This is a 729 acre 
Forest.

Coffin Cave C.A.

12 miles West of Lebanon on Hwy 64, and 4.5 miles North on
Marigold Drive.  The cave on this 60 acre forested area is closed
to the public except to those who obtain a special permit.

Flatwood Church C.A.

3.5 miles South of Bennett Spring State Park on Hwy OO, and left
on Flatwood Church Road.  This is a 71 acre area of mainly 
forestland (60 acres) and some pastureland (11 acres).

4 miles South of Lebanon on Hwy 5, and 1.25 miles West on Hwy
C.  This is a 280 acre area with an archery range.

Cover Memorial Wildlife Area

5 miles West of Alton on hwy P, then 1 mile on County Road P-134.
This is a 282 acre area composed of forestland (190 acres),  old
pastures (78 acres) and 13 acre glade.

Warm Fork C.A.

5 miles East of Koshkonong on Hwy Z, then North .1 mile on County
Road P-323.  This is a 185 acre area consisting of 110 acres of
open land, 15 acres of forestland and a .75 mile stretch of Warm
Fork of the Spring River.

Ozark County

Bull Shoals Lake

Off Route 160.  Several county and state roads (watch for signs)
provide access to this 34,736 acre area.  The area has 16,359 
acres of fishable water on the Missouri side of this lake.  It spans
across the state line into Arkansas and is 45,000 plus acres.
The area is composed of Bull Shoals Lake, Little North Fork,
Big Creek, Swan Creek and Beaver Creek.  There are boat ramps,
jetties and docks (accessible to wheelchairs), camping area and
picnic grounds.  These facilities are managed by the Corps of
Engineers.  The also extends into Taney County.  For
