Off Hwy 48, 1.5 miles North East of Rosendale.  The 204 acre areas are

made up equally of forestland, cropland and old pastures.  There are

three ponds with 3 total acres suitable for fishing.

Elrod Mill Access

Located 2 miles West of Union Star.  3 miles North on Hwy M, then 4

miles West on a gravel road.  There are two accesses on the river in the

57 acre area, with no boat ramps.

Hadorn Bridge Access

4 miles North of Savannah off Hwy C.  The 102 River extends for 

nearly a mile along the 93 acre area. There are no boat ramps.

Happy Holler C.A.

The main entrance is 4 miles East of Savannah on Hwy E, then 6 miles

North off Hwy D.  Consisting of three tracts with a total combined area

of 2,207 acres.  There are three access on the 102 River.  Three hiking

trails totaling 5 miles in length.

Honey Creek C.A.

Off I-29 take Fillmore exit (65).  The 1,448 acre area is then 1.5 miles

South on Road RA.  It is primarily forested and has three accesses on

the Nodaway River and four ponds. There is one hiking trail .75 miles

long.

Nodaway Island Access

South of I-29, from the Amazonia exit (60), go 2 miles South on Hwy K,

then turn North on Hwy T.  The access extends 400 ft. along the 

Missouri River beside Hwy T.  The 6 acres surrounding the river access

is mainly pasture.  There is a boat ramp

Nodaway Valley C.A.

8 miles North of Hwy 59 on Hwy B in Holt County.  Three hundred

acres of this 3,833 acres is wetlands, and the rest mainly cropland and

old fields.  The Nodaway River and one pond provide 40 acres of 

fishable water

Worthwine Island C.A.

On Hwy K, 5 miles South of I-29 (Amazonia exit).  Two and three

quarter miles of the Missouri River flows through this 430 acre area.

There is access to the river and a 2.5 mile hiking trail.

Atchison County

Brickyard Hill C.A.

East of I-29 on Hwy A, then east on Road RA.  This 2,262 acre area

includes Charity Lake and two ponds, which together provide 15 acres

fishable water.  Natural areas include 125 acres of the Brickyard Hill

Loess Hill Prairie.  The area has three maintained trails extending 4.8

miles, a shooting range and a archer range.

Star School Hill Prairie C.A.

East of I-29 on Hwy 136 and 12 miles North on Hwy 235.  This 289 acre

area, a Loess Hill Prairie provides habitat for 12 plant species and two

animal species on the Rare and Endangered Species lists.  A hiking

trail extends 1.1 miles.
