A slower river than most, but still has extensive drainage and a few floatable tributaries with fairly& clear water and fairly good fishing. The closest river of& it's type and size near Kansas City, it provides a place for them and other canoeists to try canoeing. Use caution between Stockton Dam and Truman Lake it can be very dangerous to canoeists during generation of power flows. Difficulty 1 or 2
