A slower river, and suited for the beginner or the family like the Bourbeuse, it differs in that it flows through more heavily populated areas. While there are numerous quiet places and with Mill sites, it has many interesting points to observe. Close to St. Louis it is a quick fun getaway for the entire family. Avoid the upper sections.
