3 miles West of Wellsville on Montgomery County Route ZZ and .25
mile West on Route RA.  Little Loutre Creek runs 3 miles through this
1,015 acre area.  It has two lakes, Lake Walter and Lake Whitesell,
providing 24 acres for fishing.  There is a boat ramp and a shelter
house.

Lakeview Park Lake

Hwy 54 North to Mexico.  Near the south side of town, take Lakeview
Road West and follow the signs 1 block to the lake.  This is a 45 acre
lake with a trail and picnic areas.

North East Park Lake

Near Kiwanis Lake in Mexico.  From Hwy 54, take Hwy 15 North to
Hendricks Drive West to reach the 110 acre area.

Vandalia Community Lake

6 miles East of Laddonia off Hwy K.  The 44 acre lake is equipped
with a boat ramp.  The land around the lake (102 acres) is mainly
forestland and old fields.  There is a shelter house, and some
picnic areas have grills and tables.

Robert M. White II C.A.

11 miles North of Mexico on Hwy 15, 1.75 miles on Route Z, and
2 miles down Route ZZ to the entrance.  Long Brand and Young's
Creek flow through this 1,163 acre area.  There also are two lakes
and five ponds providing anglers with 30 acres of fishable water.
The area is composed of forest (447 acres), cropland (430 acres),
old pasture (175 acres) and prairie (80 acres).

Benton County

Big Buffalo Creek C.A.

North of Edmonson on Hwy W, then turn South on Hwy B, then
east on Hwy WW.  This road ends perpendicular to a gravel road.
Turn left and this gravel road leads to the area.  There are low
water crossings on this road, and they may be impassable during
heavy rains.  This 1,555 acre forested area has one fishing pond
three springs and a 1.5 mile stretch of the Big Buffalo Creek.  
Natural areas of interest include the Big Buffalo Creek Fen (45
acres of calcerous wet meadow, deep muck fen and sedge meadow
shrub fen) and Big Buffalo Bottomland Natural Area, a 5 acre 
mesic bottomland forest.  There are several unmaintained trails
and roads suitable for hiking.

Brickley Hollow Access

1 mile South of Lincoln on Hwy 65, and 8 miles East on Hwy H
to the Hand Hwy W junction.  Continue 1.5 miles to an unmarked
blacktop road and turn right.  Turn right again just past the road
to Henry's Acres.  This is a 186 acre area on the Cole Camp Creek
Arm of the Lake of the Ozarks.  Brickley Creek flows 2 miles 
through the area.

Edmonson Access

1 mile South of Lincoln on Hwy 65, then 7.5 miles East on hwy H,
then turn north on an unnamed gravel road near the Cole Camp 
Creek bridge.  64 acres are forestland consisting of new hardwood
plantations and some riparian corridor.  The rest is old pastures.
.37 mile of Cole Camp Creek flows through the area, and there is
one access (no boat ramp).

Hi Lonesome Prairie C.A.

1 mile West of Cole Camp on hwy 52, then .5 mile North on
County Road NE 221.  This 627 acre area is nearly all unplowed
native prairie.  Five ponds provide anglers with .5 acre of fishable
water.

Lake of the Ozarks  (info)

Missouri's largest lake with 58,00 acre of water for you fishing
pleasure.  Centrally located and easy to get to from all of Missouri's
major cities it is a busy lake but due to it's expansiveness one can
always find a place to do some quiet fishing.  Largemouth bass,
crappie, white bass, stripers and catfish are abundant at this lake.
Fished practically all year round and with the effective stocking
efforts of our Conservation Agency it has provided state records
like a 20.5 lb hybrid stripper, a34 lb drum, a 36 lb buffalo, a 42lb
muskie, a 91 lb blue catfish and a 134 lb paddlefish.  And if your
a crappie fan you'll get excitement too.

3.5 miles North of Cole Camp on Hwy U.  There is one pond in the
area suitable for fishing (1.7 acres).  Nearly all 320 acres of
surrounding land is cropland, pasture or old fields

Antimi Lake

Located in the Cosmopolitan Recreation Area in Columbia, 1 mile
West of I-70 on Business Loop 70 West.  This is a 2 acre lake suitable
for fishing.  There are six picnic areas and two trails totaling 3.75
miles in length.

3 miles East of Ashland on Hwy Y.  This is a 12 acre area with a
boat ramp.

Cosmo Bethel Lake

South on Providence Road, 1 block West on Southampton, then 
North on Bethel Church Road.  This is a 6 acre lake in a city park.

Dairy Farm Lakes

1 and 3 are 6 miles West of Columbia on I-70, 1 mile North on Hwy
 J, and 1 mile East on hwy 40.  These are 15.5 and 5 acres in size.

Eagle Bluffs C.A.

Near McBaine on Route K, 1 mile West on Burr Oak Road, then 2 miles
South on Star School Road.  This 4,269 acre area borders portions
of the Missouri River and Perche Creek (11.5 total acres of fishable
water).  It is the largest wetland area in the country that uses
treated municipal wastewater to supplement wetland water needs.
The Katy Trail State Park parallels the area's eastern boundary for
3 miles.

Hartsburg Access

17 miles South of Columbia on Hwy 63, then West on Hwy AA, then
2 miles on River Road.  This is a 30 acre area with .5 mile frontage
on the Missouri River.  There is a boat ramp.

Hinkson Woods C.A.

1 mile South West from the Forum Boulevard entrance to the MKT
Nature Fitness Trail in Columbia.  This 70 acre area is accessible
by bike or on foot.  Natural features include riparian timber and
creek bluffs.

This is 3 acres of fishable water.

North West of Columbia on Hwy 124, then 3.5 miles North on Oak
Grove School Road.  This is a 317 acre area.

Nifong Park Pond

.25 mile West of Hwy 63 on Nifong Boulevard.  This is a 15 acre area.

Providence Access

South of Columbia on Route K and 2.5 miles West to the dead end
 of Old Plank Road.  This 5 acre area has a boat ramp on Perche
Creek, which flows into the Missouri River.

Rocky Fork Lakes C.A.

7 miles North of Columbia on Hwy 63.  Rocky Fork Lake is roughly
50 acres and suitable for anglers.  There is a boat ramp and three,
3 mile hiking trails.  Much of this 2,189 acre area was strip mined
for coal,  though 925 acres is forestland and the rest is old fields
or cropland.

South Farm R-1 Lake

1.5 miles East of Hwy 63 on Route AC, then .5 mile South and .25
mile West on a gravel road.  The 9 acre lake is on the south side of
the road.

Three Creeks C.A.

5 miles South of Columbia on Hwy 63 and 1.75 miles West on Deer 
Park Road.  This 1,277 acre area contains stretches of the Turkey,
Bass and Bonne Femme creeks.  A 2.7 mile natural trail extends
through the area, and several test plots of Running Buffalo Clover
are maintained.  Natural features include Hunter's Cave and
Tumbling Cave Spring.

Tri City Community Lake

3 miles West of Centralia on Hwy CC and 1 miles South on Tri-City
Road.  There is a boat ramp on this 30 acre lake, and the rest of
the area is primarily forestland (102 acres).

Turkey Farm Lake

1 mile North of I-70 on Route Z and .8 miles East on St. Charles Road
This 11.5 acre lake is on the south side of the road.  No boat ramp.

Twin Lake Recreation Area

West on Stadium Boulevard, South on Forum Boulevard, and West
on Chapel Hill Road.  This is a 50 acre area with 4.3 mile nature/
fitness trail, fishing and swimming opportunities.

Capitol View Access

5 miles North of Jefferson City on hwy 63.  This is 13 acres on 
Cedar Creek.

Hams Prairie Access

9 miles East of Fulton on Hwy O, 1.5 miles South on Hwy CC, then
2 miles West on County Road 428.  This is a 28 acre area on 
Auxvasse Creek with no boat ramp.

Little Dixie Lake C.A.  (lake info)

West of Kingdom City on I-70.  Take the Route J exit and head South
to Route RA.  The 733 acre area is marked with a sign on the left.
Little Dixie Lake is 206 acres.  There is a boat ramp and rental, nine
fishing jetties (some are wheelchair accessible), three hiking trails
and picnic areas.
